About the team and the role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tech Lead, Responsible AI to join our team. In this role, you will lead research and development of our AI products and services, ensuring they align with the company’s values and ethical standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and processes to deliver high-quality AI products to our customers. What you will accomplish: Lead end-to-end research to understand how AI systems can be designed with ethics, safety, equity, and inclusion as first-class concerns What you will bring: PhD in Computer Science, Informatics, Systems and Technology Studies or related fields (Minimum Requirements) Strong expertise in socio-technical AI, equity and fairness, ethics, transparency, interpretability, safety in the context of AI/ML The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York is expected in the range below. $149,200 – $234,850 If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
