Position Overview:

Qinetiq US is seeking an experienced asset management software administrator to support the QinetiQ Program Management Office (PMO) that manages the DHS Customs & Border Protection TAS program. The TAS program leverages aerostat systems to provide persistent surveillance and detection capabilities, to the U.S. Government customer across multiple different operational sites.

The successful candidate will be performing a wide variety of data metrics and analysis responsibilities for reporting and trending to inform management decisions. You will play an integral role as you assist the program management team with developing and tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to assess overall program performance and identify areas for improvement. This contract is large-scale, multi-faceted spanning multiple years, multiple locations, and requiring comprehensive reporting & tracking. Specific responsibilities include:
Responsibilities:

Collaborate with project stakeholders and QinetiQ data science team to evaluate feasibility of stakeholder requirements and prioritize system buildout requirements to capture and display information in a visual dashboard.
Effectively support the actions that must be accomplished to maximize the program’s key performance metric and operational availbility.
Assist with transition of asset management and work order history information from one asset management system into another
Develop dashboards, analytical models and data visualizations.
Work within the parameters of data sources (databases, tables, etc.) to ensure the most important data is displayed in the visualization platform in a manner that makes the information easy to understand by operational experts.
Monitor data transmissions and analyze recorded radar plot data to ensure successful transfer of data with assurance of end-to-end radar data quality and network data integrity across both wired and wireless networks.
Work with the PMO to manage users and user roles.
Provide quality assurance of imported data, working with quality assurance analysts if necessary.
Training end-users on new reports and dashboards.
Providing technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing.
Act as a key technical expert for the PMO on all data analysis issues.
Required Qualifications:

BS/BA in relevant field of study required. Additional experience can supersede degree requirement.
5 years’ experience in data analysis; or demonstrated proficiency.
Successfully completed Background Investigation with a Favorable Suitability Determination, and issuance of DHS Suitability determination.
Self-starter with demonstrated communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Hexagon EAM or Army Repair data applications
Application integration and data migration experience
