We are looking for a Senior Tech Manager to provide sound technical leadership in all aspects of our business. You will communicate with employees, stakeholders and customers to ensure our company’s technologies are used appropriately. We are a data driven company that emphasizes the collection and delivery of data to the business to support informed decision making.
Moving quickly, keeping things simple but organized, strategic thinking and strong business acumen are essential in this role. We expect you to be well-versed in current technological trends and familiar with a variety of business concepts.
Being a quick study, someone who “gets it” and is an excellent communicator and public speaker will serve you well in this role.

Qualifications and SkillsEducation:
Undergraduate degree in Engineering or Technology Related Field
MBA or an Advanced Degree in Technology or Business Related Field Desired
Experience:
We are seeking candidates with a strong background in Python, ReactJS and AWS. A strong background in these technologies and the ability to develop and maintain software systems are required.
Track record of technology development success leading multiple international teams.
Experience leading teams that build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and AWS ‘big data’ technologies.
Experience leading teams that build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency and other key business performance metrics.
History of technology organization design and/or redesign.
Demonstrated analytical skills, including the ability to assemble information, extract pertinent facts, draw logical conclusions, and present recommendations.
Handling simultaneous projects and adapt to a quickly changing environment.
Making independent judgments and decisions while taking ownership of job responsibilities.
Working within a team environment.
Leveraging advanced data technologies to handle and analyze extensive datasets.
Strong oral and written communications skills.
An understanding of the live ticketing industry is a plus.
Responsibilities and Duties
Hands-on coding with our primary tech stack (~70%)
Leadership and Project Management. (~30%)
Responsible for setting a vision for how technology will be created and used in the company, ensuring that technological resources meet the company’s short and long-term needs.
Responsible for the overall success of all aspects of REPS’ technology (including the use of off-the-shelf solutions). The team is expected to develop an in-depth understanding of our industry and business needs. We are looking for team members who will drive innovation and evolution within our business as we adapt to a highly competitive environment. They will identify and implement solutions to help REPS fulfill its Strategic Plan and vision. Will be expected to develop relationships with other departments to maximize the effectiveness of projects designed to improve overall performance.
Major responsibilities:
Creating and executing the technology strategic plan.
Identifying the resources to put the strategic plan into action.
Oversee the development process from start to finish for all projects.
Collaborating and co-creating with cross-functional teams, including data experts and business leaders.
Work on data architecture projects and use a systematic approach to plan, create, and maintain data while also keeping it aligned with business requirements.
Will perform the following duties in support of the responsibilities listed above:
Outline the goals for research and development.
Creating timelines for the development and deployment of all technological services.
Making executive decisions on behalf of the company’s technological requirements.
Inspect all system designs and changes in system architecture.
Create standards and practices for the use of technology and ensure adherence by all staff members.
Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data Analytics and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
Implementing real-time analytics solutions for instant decision-making.
Working with big data technologies for processing and analyzing large datasets.
Integrating machine learning and AI into business processes.
Drive thought leadership, innovation and creativity.
Acting as a mentor to team members.
Maintaining a consumer-focused outlook and aiding in the delivery of technology projects to market.
Managing technology budgets and time frames.
Staying on top of technology trends and developments.
Ensuring all technology practices adhere to regulatory standards.
Reporting and analysis of performance.
Control the annual operating and capital budgets for technological purchasing, staffing and operations.

Pay: $200,000.00 – $250,000.00 per year
